How do you tease leaner and meaner glass before the Consumer Electronics Show?We were on a mission to create a campaign that would build some serious hype for Corning's new Gorilla Glass—think less product specs, more primal scream. Our idea? A strategic tease featuring a series of device screens, each displaying a different facet of a seriously imposing gorilla. The concept was simple: a powerful gorilla for a powerful glass. The gorilla's intense gaze and undeniable presence were designed to create a sense of "something's coming" anticipation.
I designed the ads, becoming a digital gorilla talent scout in the process, searching for the most expressive faces to showcase the strength and versatility of Gorilla Glass. From subtle glares to full-on roars, we wanted to show that Gorilla Glass had every device covered.
